Cloth Wipes

Well, if you are using cloth diapers, you might as well use cloth wipes to wipe their bum with. They are all going to go into the machine anyhow, so might as well dump the cloth wipes in the machine together with the soiled diapers.

I have been nuts about wipes for awhile now. Shown here is some of the wipes I have, but those are the ones not in the laundry or in the baby bag. It can be exhausting digging out all of them.

Most of my wipes are from Miabambina and some from BabySashanMom.

I have a lot of favourites but most are taken away by Kimberly for herself so I cant use them.

According to my little madam, I am only allowed to use those blue ones with boy prints on them ie. those with vehicles, dinasaurs etc. So since those are in the laundry, i took the liberty to dig out her hankies (as she calls them) to take pictures of.

Anyhow, these are some of my other favourites. I got a few of these prints, so my little madam condescent to oblige me with a few of these prints to use on her little baby sister.

These are from Phoebe of Cloth Thoughts, one of the moms in Diaper Pins. I am using some of them right now, took some of those Kimberly doesnt like off her and I am loving them to bits. They are knit or flannel on one side and sherpa in colours to match the print on the other side, ie. the ballet print would have pink sherpa etc.

Kimberly love this ballet print a lot. She takes them to school as hankies instead of using tissues nowadays. Love the dinasaur print too but didnt take any solo picture of those.

P1010091

I also love these prints.

P1010095

P1010072

Phoebe of Cloth Thoughts also make diapers with these prints but I didnt get any diapers from her. I have more diapers than I can handle now. hee hee.

P1010040

These are some of the older wipes that I have been using. Save for the pink, orange and alphabets ones which Kimberly is claiming for herself, her little sister is entitled to the rest.

P1010126

These are from Babysoftlandings. I got these because there was one time when Ashley was all over Sesame Streets and Elmo.

P1010114

This is my other favourite. Alphabets prints and peachy hat prints from Wahmies. Got them both from Sandra

P1010104

P1010106

These here are rejects from Kimberly. She was picking through the wipes and when she sees these, she goes, "Eeeyewww...dinasaurs. YOu can have these, Momma !" So these ends up with her little sister.

P1010117

Some cow prints to satisfy my animal prints craze...These cow prints are from Babysoftlandings.

P1010118

These are some of the earlier ones that found their way into Kimberly's drawers

P1010133

I got them from NewMoonPads. They also sell mamapads but I thought I try out their wipes first before getting some mamapads. Then Sandra and Brenda brought in some really good ones and I found those delicious coloured ones at Cottontailbaby and end up not getting any mamapads from NewMoonPads after all.

Anyhow, I thought the prints are so pretty.

P1010134

P1010135

P1010136

Well, at least Kimberly gave me some of the animal prints. She doesnt care for them and only keep two for herself. These animal prints are from NewMoonPads

P1010138

You would have thought I have more wipes than I can handle. Not so, since Kimberly claim most of them for herself.

P1010129

Lucky for me I have enough old ones to tide me over for a long time.

And of course, you wouldnt want to be carrying ziplock bags to carry your soggy used soiled wipes in when you are out and about. So what would you be needing? Wipes container and wipe bags, of course.

These are from my earlier posts. some accessories that you may need. Not necessary but sure is useful. I hate it when i have to grope around for anything in my huge babybag. Keeping the wipes together sure makes it easier when i need to whip up a wet wipe or a dry hanky quick.

Another baby gadget I find useful. Foam wipe solution to foam on greasy fingers when the kids are having ice cream or have been holding greasy nuggets with their little hands.

P1010034

Okay, time to get some food ready for Kimberly. She is almost due home from school now. It's MIL 's week off this week and I need to work from home. But ha ha. this blogging thing can be distracting. Anyhow, will try to put up photos of wipe bags if I have the time to upload them at flikcrs. Meanwhile, Wipes Lovers, there you go.

By Blogger Angeleyes, At 8:54 PM

  • Hi, Shooi, yes , i do rinse off the poo before dumping in the machine with the other pee diapers for a second wash.

Yea lor, Brenda, lucky wipes can be used for many years. I used them on even Kimberly cos i wiped down the kids each time we are out and about when we reach the carpark before setting off home.

Sweetiepie, you see those links under baby stuff on my sidebar? those are the sites I got some of my stuff from

Chanel, it took me a whole year to accumulate that . ha ha

Miranda, I dont think you want to wait for me that long leh. YOu probably got some nice ones from your KK neighbourhood 2-handed-sotong long before that.

By Blogger allthingspurple, At 9:30 PM

  • Sandra, i know i know. this is crazy. I got to put a stop to this ! ha ha.

New Parent, its amazing where a CD fanatic can dig up all those cool prints from, isnt it?

Hey giddytiger, yea, i got that leopard print way before those animal print craze caught up in Malaysia. Lots of moms at the Mummy and Baby Fair last year ask me about them. They are from JamTots

Sting, you would faint if you see the entire collection. My MIL nearly did

Hey Hazel.thanks for the tag.i will just do that CNY one before i get down to this

Yea lor, Taty, i know this is crazy. I am coming to a halt now.

Angeleyes, no worries about where they will end up. hee hee..I know most of them will end up being sold as gently used with much loved to other blogger moms who are on my waiting list when i intend to dispose of them. The rest, i will just divide between my 2 sister in laws (newly married) and my 2 younger sisters (going to get married this year)if i dont have another kid. That should tidy things up. ha ha

  • Very colorful, looks really nice.
About the diapers, I think it saves alot of money, probably feels better on skin but is it alot of worth cleaning them, would the stain come off?

By Blogger Par, At 4:33 AM

  • Glad you love the Thirsties wipes too! My wipes " cabinet" is full now! Full of colors too! and just love to see it! heeeeheeeeeee

By Blogger Unknown, At 12:29 PM

  • Wah, can I book the dinosaur & Sesame Street prints first? I know Lucas will love them! You really have a fantastic collection, ma'am!

By Anonymous Anonymous, At 6:57 PM

  • OMG! That's alotta WIPES!!!!!

I think my boys wud have a field day with them....throwing them all over the place!!!!

Kudos to you, for being so 'green'!!!

By Anonymous Anonymous, At 10:54 AM

  • Wow! Another obsession on top of the CDs... LOL!
I don't use wipes, not even the disposable wipes. I have a couple packs of the wipes from hampers and they became expired before I finished them... Hahaha!
I wash their patt-patt, don't wipe. Cleaner, easier, more subtle for their skins. Furthermore, my children are both toilet/potty trained on poo-poo very early (not pee, of course, that's difficlt). :)

By Anonymous Anonymous, At 12:40 PM

  • Wow...lovely collections! You really inspire me to use cloth wipes also.....look at all the wonderful prints.

By Anonymous Anonymous, At 2:21 PM

  • Oh my, that's really a huge collection of cloth wipes you have there! Very nice collection!

By Blogger Health Freak Mommy, At 9:53 PM

  • Hi IlovePearly ! No, there isnt any stain cos the lining is made of microfleece, which makes the poop slid off easily. In the rare occasion of stains, drying in the sun usually bleach it out.

Sandra, guess it came as no suprise that the thristies wipes are swiped by Kimberly. She just love to hold soft things against her cheek. Thanks for the kittycat wipe. Because its a gift, it went into the Not-to-be-used department. She is quirky that way.

Hey KittyCat! I still have one unused new Dinasaur and sesame streets each. Lucas can have them for now.

Mott ! How is the pregnancy journey coming along? thanks and i didnt know that i was slowly turning so green. first the breastfeeding, then the sling, then the cloth diapers and now the wipes.

Hi Suzzette. i do wash them but after i wipe them. I think Ashley feel more comfortable bend over on my knee being wipe than being washed over the basin. Also, washing time is cut short significantly because it has been wiped. About the commercial wipes, hee hee..me too !! they have been left till all dried out.

By Blogger allthingspurple, At 11:32 AM

  • Yep, Sue, that's a whole lot.hee hee. but enough to last when I hadnt time to do laundry over a few days. With my Kimberly putting the cuter prints in her own drawer (ie. forbidden to me and Ashley), i am really left with not much for Ashley.

Hi Chinnee, i visited your blog, but Ashley pull me away before i could put any comments on any posts. love your blog !

Hey HealthFreakMummy, it is rather a lot, but always good to have just a little bit more for rainy days
