Prettiest Mom tag
I received this email from 2 friends, Kwee Nen and Peck Eng.
I thought this denote exactly what the changes from being a mom brings :
The rule to the e-mail was that, once you have been hit, you have to hit 5 pretty Moms, including the one who thought of you today & sent it to you. The idea is that if you get hit again, You will know you are really pretty!
So I thought lets just turn this into a tag instead. But that "hit" part won't work very well in a tag. So instead of giving a "hit" to the one who tag you, you add your name at the bottom of the tagged persons list, and without bumping the person at the top or bumping anyone off and let the list grow.
Prettiest Mom
Hit 5 pretty moms on your list to let them know they are pretty!
Before I was a Mom
I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations.
Before I was a Mom
I had never been puked on.
Pooped on.
Chewed on.
Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts.
I slept all night.
Before I was a Mom
I never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests or give shots.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep.
Before I was a Mom
I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put her down.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop the hurt.
I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.
I never knew I would love being a Mom.
Before I was a Mom -
I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body.
I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby.
I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child.
I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important and happy.
Before I was a Mom -
I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay.
I had never known the warmth, the joy, the love, the heartache, the wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mom.
I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much, before I was a Mom.
Now tag 5 persons who you think is a special mom .
Here's the first chain of tag :
1. Allthingspurple
2. Montessorimum
3. clumsy mommy
4. Sandra
5. KittyCat
6. VivianZ
Remember, the person who receive the tag is to add her name at the bottom of the list of the person who tag her.
On the same note, isn't it fun being a mother? You get to celebrate Mothers day planned by your kids or you get cute little homemade cards and flowers.
If your kids are still young and you need some ideas on what to do, you could always check out sites for Mother days ideas .
And of course, the fail-proof ever convenient gift baskets, a Mother's Day Gift Basket .
One time I read this newsletter on how to name a star after your mother as a Mothers day gift. Now is that cool or is that cool? ha! ha !
Isnt being a mother fun, ladies ?
